摘  要:习近平主席在致2024年世界中文大会的贺信中写道,语言是人类交流思想的工具、传承文明的载体、增进理解的桥梁。中文承载着中华民族数千年的文明智慧,是中国贡献给世界的重要公共文化产品,支持服务国际社会开展好中文教育是中国作为母语国的责任。习近平主席的贺信站在历史新时代和世界新格局的高度,精辟阐述了中文的特殊价值和中文教育的重要意义,为我们深刻理解新时代国际中文教育的新使命提供了重要指引。国际中文教育是国家和民族的事业,是扩大教育对外开放、加强国际传播能力建设、提高国家软实力的战略举措,应坚持守正创新,在打造世界重要教育中心中发挥先导性基础性作用,以专博学位点建设为契机发挥引领示范作用,在建设高质量教育体系上发挥先行示范作用,助力教育强国建设。Language is a tool for human communication,a vehicle for cultural heritage,and a bridge for mutual understanding.Bearing the millennia-old wisdom of the Chinese nation,the Chinese language is an important public cultural product that China contributes to the world.Supporting and facilitating international Chinese education is the responsibility of China as the native-speaking country of the language.The congratulatory letter delivered by Chinese President Xi Jinping in World Chinese Language Conference 2024 elaborates on the unique value of the Chinese language and the significance of Chinese education from the perspective of a new historical era and a changing global landscape,providing important guidance for understanding the new mission of international Chinese education in the new era.International Chinese education is a cause for both the state and its people,serving as a strategic initiative to expand educational openness,strengthen international communication capabilities,and enhance national soft power.It is essential to uphold tradition while innovating,play a pioneering and foundational role in building a world-class education hub,leverage the construction of specialized and doctoral degree programs as an opportunity to lead by example,and take the lead in establishing a high-quality education system,thereby contributing to education power construction.
