摘　　要：翻译是跨文化交际的重要手段,在博物馆的对外文化交流中起着举足轻重的作用。在文物名称的英译中,显化与隐化一直是译者常用的翻译策略。灵活运用显化与隐化,可以在适当保留原语文本民族性的基础上,最大限度提升译文的可读性。Translation is an important means of cross-cultural communication and plays an important role in the cultural exchange of museums with other countries.In the English translation of cultural relics names,explicitation and implicitation have always been the common translation strategies of translators.The flexible use of explicitation and implicitation can improve the readability of the translation to the maximum extent on the basis of properly preserving the nationality of the original language.
