摘　　要：与中国式现代化“五位一体”的发展布局相对应,民族地区在人口规模和结构、社会传统、特色文化、生态理念和地缘位置等五个方面具有比较优势。民族地区日益增长的人口规模和相对年轻的人口年龄结构是推动经济发展的重要动力;民族地区互帮互助的社会传统是实现共同富裕的伦理基础;民族地区的特色文化是实现物质文明与精神文明相协调的重要桥梁;少数民族的生态理念是实现民族地区人与自然和谐共生的价值支撑;民族地区的地缘位置是开展对外合作与交流的重要平台。据此,民族地区推进中国式现代化需要依托上述优势,加大人力资本投资即促进人口规模与人口质量相匹配;推动互帮互助的社会传统向协同共富的生产模式过渡;通过发展特色文化产业促进物质文明与精神文明相协调;以生态产品开发为重点大力发展绿色经济;充分利用边疆地区的地缘优势推进国际次区域合作,维护和平、稳定的发展环境。China's modernization unfolds based on an enormous population.Its goal is to achieve common prosperity for all ethnic groups,promote the coordinated development of material and spiritual civilization,ensure the harmonious coexistence of humanity and nature,and embark on a path of sustainable and peaceful development.Ethnic minoritiy areas exhibit distinct regional characteristics in terms of population characteristics,resource endowments,economic activities,ecological concepts,cultural traditions,and geographical environments.As such,they need to carve out a Chinese-style modernization path that bears their unique imprints.At present,research on the modernization of ethnic areas shows multi-disciplinary characteristics,spanning fields like ethnology,political science,economics,and anthropology.Some of the research emphasize integrating the development of ethnic regions into the broader context of“Chinese-style modernization”,however,the achievements mainly center on ethnic issues and ethnic relations.Only a handful of studies addressed the alignment of material and spiritual civilizations or the pursuit of common prosperity from the perspective of Chinese-style modernization,with insufficient attention paid to regional characteristics and pathway selection.China,a unified multi-ethnic country,displays significant regional disparities.According to the comparative advantage theory in regional economics,regions differ in natural and human resources and should formulate development plans,determine growth models,and drive economic progress based on their unique resource endowments and production strengths.Thus,exploring how ethnic regions can leverage their developmental conditions to forge a Chinese-style modernization path that maximally exploits their comparative advantages is a critical inquiry.The five core elements of Chinese-style modernization are a large-scale population,common prosperity,coordination between material and spiritual civilizations,harmony between humanity and nature,and peaceful development
