摘　　要：荀子和荀学被误读、被冷落为时久远。近些年荀学研究开始出现复兴气象,并有学者提出“新荀学”概念。牟钟鉴的《荀学新论》在重新解读《荀子》原典、考察荀学历史的基础上,努力为荀子正名,提炼出荀学十项要义,探索构建“新荀学”,旨在为当代的社会建设和社会管理提供新启示。作者还由新荀学的思考进而大胆提出新的中华核心经典系统及“新经学”若干构想。这部“大家小书”是“新荀学”研究中值得关注的成果。Xunzi and Xun-ology have long been misunderstood and neglected.In recent years,however,there has been a resurgence in the study of Xun-ology,with scholars introducing the concept of“New Xunzi Studies”.Mu Zhongjian's The New Discussions on Xun-ology reinterprets the original texts of Xunzi and examines the historical context of Xun-ology,striving to restore Xunzi's reputation,distils ten essential principles of Xunzi's philosophy and explores the construction of“New Xunzi Studies”,aiming to provide new insights for contemporary social construction and management.Furthermore,the author extends his reflections on New Xunzi Studies to boldly propose a new system of China's core classics and innovative ideas of“New Classical Studies”.This“Little Book by Masters”is a noteworthy contribution to the research on“New Xunzi Studies”.
