摘 要:《儒学小史》的英译涉及诸多文本特性和翻译难点,特别是在文化传递和哲学思想的表达上。术语翻译采用异化策略,注重保留原文的文化内涵,并遵循“推广中国文化与汉字意涵”的原则。心性儒学的归化翻译方法促进了中西文化在“礼”与“仁”观念下的交汇与对话。翻译不仅是文化传播的桥梁,更是对自我文化与身份的深刻反思。The English translation of A Concise History of Confucianism involves numerous textual features and translation challenges,particularly in the areas of cultural transmission and the expression of philosophical ideas.Terminology translation adopts a foreignization strategy,emphasising the preservation of the original cultural connotations and adhering to the principle of promoting Chinese culture and the meanings of Chinese characters.The domestication approach in translating the concept of mind and nature within Confucianism facilitates the intersection and dialogue between Chinese and Western cultures,especially under the notions of“Li”(ritual propriety)and“Ren”(benevolence).Translation serves not only as a bridge for cultural exchange but also as a profound self-reflection on one's own culture and identity.
