英语现在完成体多义识解的互动连续统

摘　　要：鉴于现在完成体的意义分类及其成因尚无定论,本文通过透视英语现在完成体中动词表征事件的语义识解过程,整合该语言结构的三类语义和两种状态,提出该构式多义识解呈互动连续统状态。研究发现:现在完成体的多义识解是其构式“have/has+V-ed”组成要素中的助动词have、非/持续动词和过去分词词缀-ed三者互动的结果,通过识解方式考察此构式要素互动下的多义性体现了其形义结合的内涵。现在完成体多义性的内在关联与互动中蕴含连续统的特征,在持续义、结果义和存在义的识解过程中,概念化主体对“现时关联”感知程度由强至弱,语义识解复杂度由低到高,逐渐体现语法意义和语用推理的相互作用。Considering the debate on the classification and causes of the English present perfect aspect meaning,this paper integrates three kinds of meaning with two states of this language structure by looking into the semantic construal process of events represented by verbs in English present perfect aspect,proposing an interactive continuum in its polysemous construal.It is found that the polysemous construal of English present perfect aspect is the result of the interaction among three composition elements:the auxiliary verb have,(im)perfective verbs and the past-participle morpheme-ed in the construction,and examining the polysemy in such interaction by means of the construal model can show the implication of“combining form with meaning”of this construction.There is a continuum in the intrinsic association and interaction of the present perfect polysemy,namely,in the process of construing the continuative meaning,resultative meaning and existential meaning,the degree of conceptualizer's perception about“current relevance”goes from strong to weak,and the complexity of semantic construal from low to high,gradually mirroring the interaction between grammatical meaning and pragmatic reasoning.
