基于符号学的特色文创产品设计研究——以兰州交通大学艺术设计学院为例

摘  要:在兰州交通大学艺术设计学院成立20周年之际,设计具有学校学院特色的文创产品。阐释符号学的基本理论并解析视觉文化符号的构成要素,对兰州交通大学艺术设计学院的文化和办学资源进行整理筛选,挑选出最具识别度和艺术特点的项目;从符号学的“能指”与“所指”两方面提取出视觉文化符号的图形元素,采用借用和隐喻的手法,对文创表现形式进行再设计,以形成符号新的“能指”与“所指”,并应用到文创产品设计中。该设计实践研究表明了运用符号学方法设计校园特色文创产品的有效性,为实现校园文化传播、弘扬办学精神提供了新的路径。On the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the establishment of the School of Art and Design of Lanzhou Jiaotong University,we designed cultural and creative products with the characteristics of the school.Explain the basic theory of semiotics and analyze the constituent elements of visual cultural symbols,sort out and screen the cultural and educational resources of the School of Art and Design of Lanzhou Jiaotong University,and select the most recognizable and artistic projects;The graphic elements of visual cultural symbols are extracted from the two aspects of semiotics“signifier”and“signified”,and the form of cultural and creative expression is redesigned by means of borrowing and metaphor,so as to form new signifiers and“signified”of symbols and apply them to the design of cultural and creative products.The design practice research shows the effectiveness of using semiotic method to design campus characteristic cultural and creative products,which provides a new way to realize the dissemination of campus culture and carry forward the school-running spirit.
