摘　　要：The Economic Policy Uncertainty Index for the United States surged to an unprecedented level in February,higher than during the 2008 financial crisis,reflecting the highest apprehension among investors and businesses since official data for the gauge was first compiled in 1985.The index was originally developed by researchers from Northwestern University,Stanford University and the University of Chicago.
