摘　　要：本文旨在思考“现代性自我如何可能”的问题。通过审视韦伯的人格及其生活样式观、福柯的主体性与自由实践观,以及莱克维茨的创造性实践理论,思考对于个体来说,当下的自我实践将如何具体展开。尽管韦伯、福柯和莱克维茨对现代性自我的理论在时代性和中心主旨上存在明显差异,但他们都拥有对现代性自我的强烈关切。从考察有关现代性和自我实践的论述中,我们不仅能梳理出“自我如何可能”问题的理论脉络,也为我们当下的自我实践提供启发。This article starts with the question of“how the self is possible in modernity”,and it aims to consider how the practice of the self might unfold for the individual at the present time,in the parallel considerations including Weber’s conceptions of the personality and conduct of life,Foucault’s conceptions of subjectivity and the practice of freedom,and Reckwitz’s theory of practice of creativity.Although these three sociologists differ in their horizons of time and central thrust,they all share a strong concern for the modernistic self.From examining theories from Weber,Foucault as well as Reckwitz on modernity and the practice of the self,we can not only clarify the theoretical lineage of the question of“how the self is possible”,but also find some inspiration for our current demands.
