摘　　要：Let(M,g)be a compact Riemann surface with unit area,h a smooth function on M.The Kazdan-Warner problem is that under what kind of conditions on h the equationΔu=8π-8πhe^(u) has a solution.In this survey article,we shall review the development of this problem along the variational method.设(M,g)是面积为1的紧黎曼曲面,h是M上的光滑函数.Kazdan-Warner问题是指h满足什么条件时,方程Δu=8π-8πheu有解.在这篇综述文章中,我们回顾这个问题基于变分法的研究历史.
