张謇与盛宣怀兴办教育之异同

摘　　要：张謇与盛宣怀都是中国近代著名的实业家、教育家,是中国早期现代化的先驱。他们作为同时代人,在开创早期现代化的各项事业中有着许多共同之处:以强国兴邦为根本目的,以现代实业为财力支撑,以培育实用人才为当务之急,以先进国家教育为办学参照,以师范教育为基础工程。但由于个体的主客观条件不同,也具有一些差异。他们在一百多年前兴办现代教育的实践和思想,对于我们今天发展现代化教育从而推进中国式现代化早日实现,依然有着宝贵的启示。Zhang Jian and Sheng Xuanhuai were both famous industrialists and educators in modern China,and pioneers of early modernization in China.As contemporaries,they had many commonalities in various undertakings that pioneered early modernization—they both had the fundamental goal of building a strong country and promoting the nation,with modern industry as financial support,cultivating practical talents as the top priority,advanced countries'education as a reference for running schools,and teacher education as the basic project.However,due to different subjective and objective conditions of individuals,there are also some differences.Their practice and thought of setting up modern education more than a hundred years ago still have valuable enlightenment for us to develop modern education today and promote the early realization of Chinese path to modernization.
