摘　　要：The incidence of chronic immune-mediated diseases is increasing worldwide across all age groups,affecting more than 10%of the general population[1,2].Immune-mediated diseases are also more likely to be associated with each other,leading to an increasing number of individuals with cooccurring diseases[2].There is particular interest in concurrent disorders overlapping in the same organ,as there may be shared pathophysiologies that could inform treatment targets.Inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)and eosinophilic esophagitis(EoE)are examples of this,as both are immune-mediated disorders that affect the gastrointestinal tract.
