摘  要:Oral intake of probiotics is one of the most popular methods to prevent and treat diseases,by inhibiting pathogen colonization and remodeling intestinal homeostasis.However,oral probiotic administration has been restricted by low bioavailability due to the acidic gastric fluid and digestive enzymes,or bile salts in the stomach and intestines,and competition with host commensal bacteria[1].It is essential to protect the viability and bioactivity of oral probiotics during the gastrointestinal(GI)tract to improve treatment effectiveness.
