摘  要:“读书得间”是中国古代阐释思想中的重要主张,发源于先秦,在从清代到当代的学术话语中被广泛运用。“间(閒)”的本义为缝隙,在阐释学中指向阐释对象的意义断裂之处,是阐释者在理解和阐释活动中需要把握的关键。“读书得间”要求阐释者开掘文本意义的断裂之处并将自己的理解注入其中,以其为关联节点而会通阐释过程中的不同要素,把握要素之间的本质性关联,进而使文本的意义充分展开、重新贯通,达成对文本意义的深度理解。“读书得间”这一阐释活动的总目标是发明文本新的意义。它的意义发明以精熟文本为基础,凸显阐释者的主体性和创造性,并受到公共理性的引导和约束。“Reading for Insight”is an important proposition in ancient Chinese hermeneutic thought,originating from the Pre-Qin period and widely used in academic discourse from the Qing Dynasty to the present day.The original meaning of“Jian”(间)refers to a gap,which in hermeneutics means the point of disconnection in the meaning of the object,the key that the interpreter needs to grasp in the understanding and interpretation.“Reading for Insight”requires the interpreter to explore the disconnection in the meaning of the text and inject his/her understanding into it,using it as relational node to integrate different elements in the process of interpretation,grasp the essential connections between the elements,and thus enable the full unfolding and reconnection of the meaning of the text,leading to an in-depth understanding of the meaning of the text.The overall goal of“Reading for Insight”is to generate new meaning of the text.Based on the mastery and familiarity of the text,its meaning generation highlights the subjectivity and creativity of the interpreter,and it is guided and constrained by public rationality.
