The teaching mode of many universities for the course of basic methods of traditional Chinese medicine health preservation is mainly based on teacher lectures, with insufficient student participation. This is a continuation of the inertia of traditional teaching thinking and methods.Under the cramming teaching mode, the students lose their love for the course by rote memorization of knowledge. The BOPPPS teaching model can change the above drawbacks, allowing students to truly become the leading role of the class and fully participate in teaching. The BOPPPS teaching model proposes a teaching cycle process that follows the principles of“teaching objectives, teaching behaviors, learning activities, teaching evaluation, and teaching objectives”from the perspective of teaching organization and implementation. This enables teachers to effectively organize course teaching, while allowing students to continuously participate in the learning process, repeatedly practice practical operations, and strengthen practical skills. The BOPPPS teaching model truly embodies the"student-centered and practice oriented"teaching philosophy.
