摘 要:中国传统哲学中包含丰富的体用思想,多以形体与功用、本体与现象、原则与方法等层面呈现体用的多向度内涵,开显“明体达用、体用不二”的中华文脉。近代“中体西用”文化体用观从主辅、本末、内外等方面探索与演绎体用范畴的内涵及运用于处理中西文化关系问题。习近平文化思想提出“明体达用、体用贯通”,理论与实践融合、继承与创新并重,以“贯通”义承接古今,融通中西,理论上实现了对中国数千年体用传统的传承,在实践中完成了文化体用观探索的超越。Chinese traditional philosophy contains a profound tradition of substance(体)-function(用)conceptualization,which manifests its multidimensional connotations through such dialectical pairings as form and function,noumenon and phenomenon,as well as principle and methodology.This intellectual framework elucidates the Chinese cultural ethos epitomized in the doctrines of“illuminating substance to actualize function”(明体达用)and“non-duality between substance and function”(体用不二).The modern cultural paradigm of“Chinese substance as noumenon and Western learning as supplement”(中体西用)systematically explores and elaborates the categorical framework of substance and function through dialectical modalities of primacy-supplementarity,ontological hierarchy,and internality-externality,while applying this conceptual apparatus to mediate the cultural interplay between Chinese tradition and Occidental modernity.Xi Jinping’s cultural thought in the New Era proposes“illuminating substance to actualize function,and achieving substance-function holistic integration(体用贯通)”—a dialectical synthesis of theory-practice integration and equilibrium between heritage and innovation.This framework philosophically not only actualizes the theoretical inheritance of China’s millennia-spanning substance-function tradition through the hermeneutic continuity of“holistic integration”,bridging classical-modern temporalities and transcending the East-West civilizational dichotomy,but also accomplishes an epistemic transcendence in cultural exploration through the century-long praxiological formation of modern civilization.
