摘　　要：英语思辨教学旨在通过语言教学内容和方式的改革提升学生的逻辑分析、批判反思、自主创新等高阶思维和思辨能力。基于思辨能力培养的语言教学是实现学生创新精神和实践能力提升的有效途径之一。基于多模态教学理论论证大学英语思辨教学的可行性和必要性,并尝试构建了“课内+课外”的双维多态思辨教学模式。该模式以多维度激发学生的思辨潜能为目标,助力学生形成思辨意愿、提升整体学术素养。Critical thinking teaching in EFL class aims to improve students’component skills of analyzing arguments,making inferences using inductive or deductive reasoning,judging or evaluating,and making decisions or solving problems independently.It is also one of the effective ways to improve students’innovation skills and competency.This research explores ways of introducing multimodal teaching model into EFL teaching to construct a dual-dimensional critical thinking teaching theory in and outside the classroom.The proposed teaching method is designed to develop students’multimodal critical thinking potential in multiple dimensions so as to help students build critical thinking skills and develop and effectively apply critical thinking skills to their academic studies.
