A New Discussion of the Influences on Ye Fang’ai’s Poetic Style

摘  要:作为清初官吏、诗人、学者,叶方蔼与清初的一众诗人多有交往,学界对其诗风尊奉亦有宗唐、宗宋等说法,后世多称其“诗宗苏陆”。但留意清初诗坛可知,在康熙、王士祯、钱谦益、冯班、冯舒等一系列诗坛重要人物的影响下,叶方蔼的诗风呈现“唐宋兼宗”的面貌,其成因值得辨析探讨。文章基于对《叶文敏公集》的梳理,将叶方蔼的诗风宗崇问题置于清初诗坛“唐宋诗之争”的框架内,通过研究其诗歌审美、诗风宗崇以对叶方蔼作出客观的评价。As a poet,scholar,and official in the early Qing Dynasty,Ye Fang’ai had extensive interactions with many poets of his time.Academic discussions regarding his poetic style have proposed various influences,such as“following Tang Dynasty poetry”or“following Song Dynasty poetry”,with later generations often referring to him as a“follower of Su Shi and Lu You”.However,considering the early Qing poetry scene,influenced by significant figures such as Emperor Kangxi,Wang Shizhen,Qian Qianyi,Feng Ban,and Feng Shu,Ye Fang’ai’s poetic style exhibits a“dual reverence for Tang and Song”.The reasons behind this are worth exploring.This paper,based on an analysis of The Collected Works of Ye Wenmin,places Ye Fang’ai’s poetic style within the framework of the“Tang vs.Song poetry controversy”in the early Qing Dynasty.By examining his poetic aesthetics and stylistic influences,the paper aims to provide an objective evaluation of Ye Fang’ai.
