摘 要:“文科无用论”的热议并不是人类对技术万能论的支持和信任,相反,是人类对知识爆炸和技术进步的数字时代带来的意义内容泛化、手段简化和环境窄化的意义丧失之困的反思和失信。在这一背景下,文科教育以其对学生想象力、自反力和理解力的培养来重新建构人类社会和人类自身的意义价值,重申其作为有用性的目的本身和创造源泉的实践活动的重要地位。文科教育的价值是固有的,然而并不因其自身重要而始终备受重视。为了实现其价值的可持续性,文科教育需要主动超越原有教育模式,适应和利用混合现实与人工智能等前沿数字技术的发展优势,实现文科教育长久之用的可能性。The heated discussion of the“uselessness of humanities”is not about human support and trust in the omnipotence of technology.On the contrary,it is about human reflection and dishonesty towards the loss of meaning caused by the explosion of knowledge and technological progress in the digital age,including the generalization of meaning content,simplification of means,and narrowing of the environment.In this context,liberal arts education reconstructs the meaning and value of human society and humanity itself through its cultivation of students’imagination,reflexivity,and comprehension,reaffirming its important position as a useful purpose and source of creativity in practical activities.The value of liberal arts education is inherent,but it is not always highly valued due to its own importance.In order to achieve the sustainability of its value,liberal arts education needs to proactively go beyond the original education model,adapt to and utilize the development advantages of cutting-edge digital technologies such as mixed reality and artificial intelligence,and realize the possibility of long-term use of liberal arts education.
