西方经济学传播视域下的易学“消息”之义——以梁启超对演绎分析的认知为中心

摘　　要：在晚清西学东渐的历程中,易学话语一度被应用于社会科学方法论的译介之中,梁启超等维新派知识分子以“消息”一词解读经济学演绎方法就是社会科学借用易学范畴的典型案例。一方面,“消息”之义与从不证自明的公理出发运用演绎推理构建经济学理论体系关联起来,用以保证理论体系的逻辑可靠性;另一方面,“消息”之义自然面向与易学面向的贯通又使其具备了与演绎分析略显差异,却与絜矩之道这一中国传统思维方式相契合的意蕴,以此保证理论体系的实践有效性。对西方经济学传播视域下的易学“消息”之义的考察,有助于跳出易学以回望易学,获得对易学范畴和逻辑方法的新认识,同时也为今日中国自主知识体系的构建提供了方法论镜鉴。中国经济学的构建必须实现经验基础与先验方法之间的平衡,这就是易学“消息”之义带来的方法论启示。In the process of the spread of Western knowledge to the East in the late Qing dynasty(1644-1911),the discourse system of Changes scholarship was once applied to the translation and introduction of social science methodology.Liang Qichao(1873-1929)and other intellectual reformists used the term“xiao xi”(lit.waxing and waning)to interpret the deductive methods of economics,which is a typical case of borrowing the category of the Changes in social sciences.On the one hand,the meaning of“xiao xi”is associated with the use of deductive reasoning to construct an economic theoretical system based on self-evident axioms,in order to ensure the logical reliability of the theoretical system;On the other hand,the connection between the natural aspect of“waxing and waning”and the Changes aspect makes it slightly different from deductive analysis,but is in line with the traditional Chinese thinking way of“xie ju”(laws and rules),in order to ensure the practical effectiveness of the theoretical system.The examination of the meaning of“waxing and waning”under the horizon of the dissemination of Western economics can help to think outside of and look back on the Changes scholarship,gain new understanding of its logical methods,and provide methodological insights for the construction of China's independent knowledge system today.The construction of Chinese economics must achieve a balance between empirical foundations and prior methods,which is the methodological inspiration brought by the meaning of“waxing and waning”in the study of Chinese economics.
