基于《儒林传》的《列女仁智图卷》主题探讨

摘　　要：《列女仁智图卷》是顾恺之根据刘向《古列女传》三卷的《仁智传》所画的长卷图像,原画本遗失,现存为摹本。刘向认为,王教由内及外,自近者始,故撰《古列女传》,言得失,陈法戒。《仁智传》陈列女的仁智事迹,记载列女能“识微”“知天道”“圣善”以及“贵德尚信”,以嘉言懿行,倡仁举德,兴国显家。图绘《列女仁智图卷》秉承《古列女传》意图,图说历史中的仁智列女事迹,弘扬儒家思想,如《卫灵夫人图》中的蘧伯玉,“中止阙门”的范式高度体现了儒家礼教的文化精神,提出“以德治国”,把“弗治之治”归于“仁”与“德”。整体而论,《列女仁智图卷》体现了儒家的主题思想。The Benevolent and Wise Women Scroll is a long handscroll painting created by Gu Kaizhi based onthe Biographies of Exemplary Women(Gulienüzhuan) by Liu Xiang,specifically the section titled Biographies of theBenevolent and Wise.The original painting is lost,and the extant version is a later reproduction.Liu Xiang believedthat moral education should begin from within and extend outward,starting with those closest to oneself.Thus,hecompiled Biographies of Exemplary Women to illustrate moral successes and failures,presenting models foremulation and cautionary tales.The Biographies of the Benevolent and Wise section records the deeds of virtuousand intelligent women who possessed qualities such as "insight into subtle truths," "understanding the ways ofHeaven," "sage-like goodness," and "valuing virtue and upholding integrity." Through their noble words andexemplary conduct,these women promoted benevolence,upheld virtue,and contributed to the prosperity of theirstates and families.The Benevolent and Wise Women Scroll adheres to the original intent of Biographies of Exemplary Women,visually narrating the stories of virtuous and wise women from history to propagate Confucian ideals.For instance,the depiction of Qu Boyu in *Lady of Weiling* exemplifies the Confucian cultural ethos of ritual propriety throughthe paradigm of "halting at the palace gate," advocating for "governing through virtue" and attributing "order withoutgovernance" to the principles of "benevolence" and "virtue." Overall,The Benevolent and Wise Women Scrollembodies the core themes of Confucianism.
