摘  要:目的 : 探讨老年人 REE与性别、年龄 ,人体测量学指标的相关性。方法 : 用间接能量测定仪测试 82名 (男 3 0、女 5 2 )平均年龄 80岁的中国健康汉族老年人的静息能量消耗 (rest-ing energy expenditure,REE)的水平 ,并将 REE测试值与根据 Harris- Benedict公式算出的基础能量消耗值 (basal energy expenditure,BEE)进行比较。同时应用生物电阻抗分析法 (bioelectricalimpedance analysis,BIA)测定去脂体重 (fatfree mass,FFM)和体脂重量 (fat mass,FM)等人体测量学数据。结果 :  82名健康老人的 REE平均值为 (4.44± 0 .5 2 ) MJ/2 4 h,与公式计算的 BEE比无统计学差异 ,但比 FAO/WHO/UNU(1 985 )公式值低 9% ,比 Owen公式值低 1 9%。本研究观察到我国健康老年人的 REE与去脂体重、体重、体表面积 (body surface area,BSA)、年龄、身高、性别和体重指数 (body mass index,BMI)之间有相关性。老年男女的每公斤体重、每公斤去脂体重和单位体表面积所产生的 REE间无统计学差异。结论 :  Harris- Benedict公式、FAO/WHO/UNU(1 985 )公式与 Owen公式都过高估计了我国健康老年人的基础能量消耗。由于老年人的REE存在较大的个体差异 ,其 REE值宜实测而不宜用公式预测。我国健康老年人的 REE与去脂体重、体?Objective: To measure the resting energy expenditure(REE) of healthy Chinese elderly people, then compare it with basal energy expenditure(BEE) determined by commonly used predicting equations such as Harris-Benedict, FAO/WHO/UNU(1985) and Owen and analyze the relationship between REE and age, gender, body size and body composition respectively. Methods: We measured the REE in 82 healthy Chinese old persons of Han nationality(30 males, 52 females, 80±6 years old, 18.5 kg/m 2≤BMI≤25 kg/m 2)living at several nursing homes in Shanghai by indirect calorimetry and determined their body compositions using a two-compartment model bioelectrical impedance analysis(BIA) device. Results: The results showed that these old Chinese persons' REE was 4.44±0.52 MJ/24h. It was equal to the value of predicted basal energy expenditure derived from H-B equation, 9% and 19% lower than those derived from equations of FAO/WTO/UNU(1985) and Owen respectively. REE was correlated well with free fat mass(FFM), body weight, body surface area(BSA) and age. When data were analyzed by analysis of covariance(ANCOVA), there were no statistically significant differences in REE/kg BW, REE/kg FFM and REE·BSA -1 ·h -1 , i. e. resting metabolic rate (RMR), between old men and old women. The CVs of REE/kg BW, REE/kg FFM and REE·BSA -1 ·h -1 are more than 10% respectively. Conclusion: It seems that the commonly used energy expenditure equations of Harris-Benedict, FAO/WHO/UNU (1985) and Owen are not suitable for predicting REE or BEE in Chinese elderly people of Han nationality. REE was correlated well with free fat mass (FFM), body weight, body surface area (BSA) and age. There are no statistically significant differences in REE/kg BW, REE/kg FFM and REE·BSA -1 ·h -1 between old men and old women. However, the energy expenditure of elderly people should be measured rather than predicted due to large inter-subject variation.
