普通高校英语专业听力课程“零课时”教学模式初探

摘　　要：英语专业的听力教学中,"放音-对答案"的传统课堂教学模式已无法满足有效地提高学生的听力水平和自主学习能力的需要。针对普通高校英语专业学生基础薄弱的特点,重庆工商大学外语学院在2011级英语专业学生中开展了听力"零课时"教改。通过逐步减听力课时而不减听力时间和任务,由教师根据教学大纲和学习者的听力需求,凭借网络平台等多种途径向学习者提供听力材料、进行听力技能指导、答疑、监督和测试等方式,促使学生由被动的学习变成主动的、个性化的学习。The traditional classroom teaching model of“play-and-check”in an English listening course no long meets the needs of improving the students’listening and self-learning abilities. In the light of the less satisfying foundation of English, the School of Foreign Languages of CTBU has adopted the idea of“Zero Class Hour”model in English listening course among the English majors of Class of 2011. While the class hours are reduced, the learning time and tasks maintain. In accordance with the syllabus and the demands of listeners, the instructors assign materials and offer guidance and supervision by means of answering questions and testing on the web so as to prompt students to change from passive leaning to active and individualized learning.
