摘　　要：在英文中篇章及段落通常是按某种层次组织并通过关联词组有机连接起来 ,形成意义较为完整和语言结构连贯的章节 ,反映文章的主题。其中衔接与连贯手段是保持篇章及其段落连贯性的两个重要特征。着重从衔接与连贯两个方面阐述了英语篇章及段落层次上的连贯性。In English text or paragraph is usually connected with some arrangement of ideas and connected word groups.They consisted of completed meaning and coherent text to explain the topic of the text. The cohesion and coherence are two important characteristics.This article focus on explaining how to keep the text coherent.
