摘　　要：对一种新的软件开发方法Extreme Programming (XP)进行了研究和探讨。还介绍了作者在实际项目中如何利用XP软件开发方法的思想，不仅有效提高了软件开发效率、缩短了项目周期，而且大大降低了项目的开发风险。This paper gives brief introduction of extreme programming (XP) methodology. In development of the projects, XP plans many software releases and focuses on the smallest set of the most valuable functions in each release. It is very effective to the projects with unspecific requirements initially or with changing requirements. It can not only shorten the development period but also decrease the venture. And the authors have successfully used it in a practical development.
