摘　　要：从设备维修管理系统的升级和业务功能扩展的角度,阐述了采用数据仓库技术的必要性、作用和关键技术,最后给出了钢铁企业的应用实例,这里的内容也是研究设备维修管理决策支持系统的基础。From the view of upgrading and functi on expanding of equipment maintenance management system,this paper expatiates the necessity,function and key technolog y of data warehousing.Finally,an ap-plication example of iron -steel ent erprise is given.Meanwhile,the con tents of this paper is also the base of equipment maintenance management decision support system.
