摘　　要：“生活的一课”选自美国当代黑人女作家玛亚·安吉罗的自传体小说《我知道囚禁的鸟为何要歌唱》。主人公弗劳尔斯太太是黑人女性的杰出代表 ,也是“我”的启蒙老师 ,她的生动的一课为“我”的人生打开了新的视角 ,对“我”的一生起着重要的影响。A Lesson in Living is taken from the autobiographical novel I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings by Maya Angelou, a contemporary American black woman writer. Mrs. Flowers, the heroine is an outstanding representative of the black American women and the first tutor who introduces 'me' to future life. 'The first lesson in living' she give opens a new horizon to 'me' and has an important influence on 'me'.
