摘　　要：分析了西部地区生态环境现状和造成生态环境破坏的自然与人为因素 ,提出了在西部大开发中加强生态环境建设、保护和合理开发自然资源、加快城镇化步伐和科技进步 ,从而使西部地区的经济可持续发展 .This article analysed the present state of ecological environment in West China and the artificial and natural factors causing the destruction of ecological environment. It also put forward the suggestion of enforcing ecological environment construction, protecting and developing natural resources, speeding up the step of city building and technology progress so that the economy in West China can devolop sustainably.
