摘　　要：随着英语教育的普及,英语的专业价值已然被弱化,而传统的大学英语与英语专业也面临转型的困境。本文试图在分析当前外语教学形势,研究英语教师职业发展前景的基础上,对英语教师专业化发展的路径做出尝试性的探索。With the wide popularization of English education, it is doubtful that English should be adopted as a major in the university. Therefore, the language teaching of English and non-English majors has to undertake some transformation. The thesis aims to analyze the current foreign language teaching, study the prospects of the teachers' career development, and figure out some tentative ways to promote their professional development.
