摘　　要：《死魂灵》是果戈理长篇小说代表作。作品集中地描写了俄国农奴制下地主的寄生生活,极其成功地塑造了地主形象,并通过“含泪的微笑”的独特讽刺手法再现俄国地主的性格特征,表现了果戈理对农奴的刻画达到了一个崭新的高度。Dead Soul is Gogerys representative novel, which focuses on describing the landlords' parasitic life during the reign of Russian Serfdom, successfully figures the image of a landlord. The novel reproduces the characteristics of the landlord through the special irony 'tearful smile' , and presents that Gogery's portrait of serfs reaches a remarkable degree.
