摘　　要：进化规划是一类借鉴生物界进化原理 ,强调父代与子代在群体层次上行为间联系的随机搜索算法 ,是三大进化算法之一。在典型的进化规划中 ,每一个父辈在产生一定数量的后代的同时还要与后代一起竞争。文中详细阐述了进化规划的原理、理论基础和实现步骤。对进化规划、遗传算法和进化策略进行了比较分析。Evolutionary programming (EP) is a method for simulating evolution that emphasizes the behavioral change at the level of the species In a typical evolutionary programming, every parent simultaneously generates a number of offspring, which all subsequently placed in competition the principle?theory and implementation of EP are presented Then, EP, GA and ES are compared the development of EP and their further application in mechanical engineering are prospected
