摘 要:提出一种基于车牌特征信息分析的车牌识别方法,它充分利用车牌定位和字符分割过程中得到的信息对车牌识别过程进行反馈,将二值化、车牌定位和字符分割紧密结合,注重车牌与车辆背景图像分离特征,以连通域分析为字符分割特点,结合局部二值化算法,提高正确率.实际应用结果表明,本方法具有很强的环境适应性和鲁棒性.A vehicle license plate recognition method based on the characteristics of vehicle license plate is presented in this paper. It fully utilizes the information gained from the processes of license location and character segmentation to feedback to the license plate recognition. The processes of binarization, license plate location and character segmentation are combined. This method concentrates on the segmentation between the license plate and the vehicle background image. To improve the correct segmetation ratio, character segmentation is based on the analysis of continuous area and is combined with the local binarization. This method has been proved to be robust and highly adaptive to the environment in actual application.
