转变教学理念,建立新的专业英语教学模式

摘　　要：本文以我国高校专业英语现行的课堂教学模式为切入点，通过对“专门用途英语”（English for Specific Purposes of ESP)有关教学理论的研究，在以“学习为中心”教学法的基础上，设计出了一种新的专业英语课堂教学模式，并阐述了这种教学模式的设计理念、特点以及实施这种教学模式的制约因素和对策，旨在为推动专业英语的教学改革提供一种积极的、有意义的思考。Through the study and analysis of related ESP teaching theories and based on the 'learning-centered approach' , this paper attempts to develop a new teaching model for ESP courses in college English. It elaborates the design concept and special features of this teaching model. It also discusses some constraints on the implementation of the teaching model and the strategies as well. The paper aims to provide food for further teaching reform in ESP courses in college English.
