传真服务器在航运信息系统中的应用

摘　　要：介绍了传真服务器的工作原理和优点、航运信息系统的特点及采用传真服务器的必要性 ;给出了以DIALOGICVFX/PCI传真卡为硬件支撑的传真服务器在航运信息系统中的具体应用方法 ,即从航运信息系统中提取传真内容与控制信息 ,生成文本文件 ,由传真服务器软件将这些内容文件与图表背景合成传真文件 ,然后发送出去 ,传真纪录存放在SQLSERV ER数据库中 。This paper introduces the principles and characteristics of fax server supported by Dialogic VFX/PCI fax card and the characteristics of shipping information system as well as the necessity of applying fax server to this sysem.The steps of application are as follows:get fax contents and control information from shipping information system to make text files,combine these files and background images together to produce fax files,and then send them out.Fax logs are stored in SQL server database which can be viewed and managed by ASP programe through web pages.
