摘　　要：该文介绍了数据库访问新技术ADO及其特点,详细分析了在VisualC++6.0中使用ADO访问数据库的方法及其在轧机在线监测与故障诊断系统中的应用,并实现了访问数据库时口令的非硬代码方式技巧。A new technology named ADO(ActiveX Data Object)in data access and its characteristic are introduced.The method using ADO in Microsoft Visual C++6.0and its application in an on-line monitoring&fault diagnosis system for rolling mill are analyzed detailedly.A skill which can enhance the security of database is realized in the system.
