摘　　要：Objective: To investigate the survival data of the senile dementia in community. Methods:One hundred and twenty-nine senile dementia patients were followed-up in 10 years. Results: The mean survival time was 5.43±2.29 years of AD patients and was 4.72±1.10 years of VD patients. There was significant difference in survival time between men and women AD patients.For the survivals,the scores of MMSE,ADL and POD were significantly lower than that of 10 years ago.Conclusion: The course of AD may be more benign in women than in men,and senile dementias progressively deteriorate in cognitive and daily life abilities.Objective: To investigate the survival data of the senile dementia in community.
