摘　　要：文章综述了切花衰老过程中乙烯的生物合成、调控及其与切花衰老的关系 。Ethylene is closely related to senescence of cut flowers.The biosynthesis of ethylene proceed by the following pathway:methionine→SAM→ACC→ethylene.The character istic in ethylene reaction is autocatalysis and autoinhibition effect.The senescence of petals often accompanied ethylene biosynthesis and exogeneous ethlene also induce petal senescence.Ethylene promotes the petal senescence by regulating the senescence-related gene expression at transcriptional or translational level.To lengthen the vase life of cut flowers,the application of ethylene inhibitors is very common.
