摘　　要：对大型的图象数据库进行准确检索的时候 ,需要对纹理与非纹理图象进行分类 ,为了准确地提取图象中的纹理特征 ,本文在文献 [4]的基础上 ,提出了一种新的基于小波和区域统计特性的算法来对纹理和非纹理图象进行分割 ,并以此算法对一个具有 10 0 0幅真实图象的图象数据库进行了检索 。To realize accurate image retrieval for large\|scale image databases, it is critical to develop an accurate method for the classification of textured and non\|textured images. In this paper, we present a new algorithm to classify an image textured and non\|textured using the wavelet\|based region segmentation and statistical properties. Finally we use a test image database with 10000 images to show the effectiveness of this novel approach.
