摘　　要：章学诚是清代著名的史学家、目录学家,毕生致力于讲学、著述和纂修史志。他以"经世致用"作为治学准则,在总结前人经验的基础上,从理论到方法全面发展了我国古代目录学说。他提出以"辨章学术,考镜源流"为目录学宗旨,以及"以书类人"、"互著与别裁"、"韵编与索引"诸法,至今仍具有重要的参考价值,值得我们认真研究和总结。Zhang Xuecheng is famous for historiography and bibliography of Qing Dynasty.He had devoted himself to giving lectures,writing and compiling history and annals.He regarded the phrase'to govern society and to learn in order to practice'as his guiding principle of doing scholary research,and on the basis of summing up experience of predecessors,he developed bibliographical doctrine of ancient China from theory to method,Even today,the aim of bibliography,'to grasp the true meaning of learning by clarifying all its origin and change',and the methods of bibliography,'Yi Shu Lei Ren,''Hu Zhu Yu Bie Cai'and 'Yun Bian Yu Suo Yin' put forward by Zhang,are still of great importance to our reference and worth careful study.
