摘　　要：本文围绕语义功能语法的中心语义语法范畴,讨论语义语法范畴研究跟传统与现代语法的关系,分析范畴的语义基础、范畴分析方法、范畴性质与价值等,并进而讨论语义功能语法在语法研究中的定位问题。This paper is intended for an analysis of the relationships between the study of semanticfunctional grammar and that of traditional and modern grammar, for a look at the approaches, character and value of the former, and for an exploration of the location of semanticfunctional grammar in the study of the grammar.
