从习语看中英文化差异

摘　　要：习语是语言中的精华 ,语言反映文化。因此从英汉习语中可以分析出中英文化方面的差异。这些差异主要表现在宗教信仰上、地理环境上、农业生产方式上、思维方式上、历史渊源上、价值标准上等。Language can reflect culture,so,by analysing the idioms-a very important part of language,from Chinese and English,we can see the cultural differences between China and western countries,which include the differences of religion,of geographic location, of the way of agricultural production, of the way of thinking, of history and of values.
