University town:new attempt of higher education development in developed regions of China

摘　　要：近几年来我国部分发达地区出现的大学城现象 ,是政府、高校、社会等多种力量积极参与和共同努力的产物。大学城对我国高等教育改革和发展具有多重意义 ,但其发展过程中存在的规划、投入、管理等问题也不容忽视。为此 ,大学城的建设应当遵循协调发展、规划先行、体制创新。In recent years, university towns have been thriving in some developed regions in China. They are the outcome of sufficient participation and collective endeavor of multifarious aspects, among which government, universities and society play significant roles. University towns have been making multiple contributions to higher education's reform and development. Nonetheless, some prevalent problems occur such as planning, investment and management in the process of development. Therefore, principles like harmonious development, programming first, system innovation and scientific management should be followed in the development process of university towns.
