摘　　要：软交换是下一代话音网络中的核心技术。尽管目前电路交换网络为运营商带来的收入增加较少,但以分组话音为主的网络仍然存在很多问题,如业务质量低、技术不成熟以及资金缺乏等。首先分析了当前电信运营商面临的危机,然后分别阐述了软交换的网络结构及其自身优势,并简单介绍了一个软交换的商用案例,最后对软交换的市场前景进行了展望。Softswitch is a kernel tech-nology for the next-generation packet voice network.Operators are getting di-minishing incremental increase in rev-enue from the circuit switched net-work,whereas they are concerned of the poor service quality,unproven tech-nology,lack of funds and other issues of the packet voice network.After a crisis analysis,the paper presents the network architecture of softswitch with its ad-vantages and a business scenario.The paper concludes with a prospect of the softswitch market in the future.
