摘　　要：讨论了南方电网中利用直流输电系统对交流系统进行紧急功率支援的必要性和可行性 ,阐述了紧急功率支援的本质 ,并分析了紧急功率支援的数量。Concerned with the South China power grid, the necessity, feasibility and the essence of implementing emergency DC power support (EDCPS) to AC power systems is discussed. From the viewpoint of DC power support's quantity,activating time and power change rate, the effect of EDCPS on the improvement of stability of the whole South China power grid is analyzed in detail. Many heuristic and valuable results are derived from the research and theoretical explanations are also given to them.
