摘　　要：Viscocanalostomy is a new non penetrating surgical procedure for glaucoma purported to be independent of external filtration. It therefore offers several theoretical advantages over trabeculecto-my: since there is no need to open the anterior chamber or perform an iridectomy, Viscocanalostomy leads to less risk of infection, cataract, hypotony and flat anterior chamber.
