摘　　要：简述了GIS及组件式GIS产品MAPX的主要功能和特点,介绍了MapX和VB相结合开发基于GIS应用的方法,提出了利用MapX和COM技术开发服务器端组件的解决方案。The thesis introduces main functions and characteris-tics of GIS and the component product of GIS-MapX.It also introduces the way,based on the application of GIS,of com-bined development of MapX and Visual Basic,and proposes the solution way of developing components on server by applying MapX and COM technology.
