摘 要:本文根据美国科学情换所(ISI)在Science Watch期刊上公布的化学热门论文,以及35种国际上影响因子最高的化学及相关综合类期刊上中国大陆学者发表的化学论文,对国际上化学学科的热门领域进行了分析,并与国内(大陆地区)的研究工作作了比较。国际范围内化学学科热点集中在计算机软件测定大分子结构、分子电子学器件、纳米材料与器件、有机合成中的烯烃复分解反应、Suzuki反应等领城。大陆学者在上述领域作出的具有国际影响的工作还很少。国内比较活跃的领域有材料(如催化剂、纳米材料、无机络合物等)的合成与表征、不对称催化反应、各种结构和动力学参数的测定工作等。近年来,中国化学基础研究取得了显著进展,国内优秀化学家的一些工作达到了国际先进水平,但总体上,与国际一流的研究水年仍有较大差距。A comparison of hot chemical research areas in China (mainland) and abroad has been made by using the data of the most cited papers of ISI's Hot Paper Database over 1996-2003.4 and the most cited papers over the same time span addressed 'Peoples R China' in ISI' s Web of Science. According to analysis of these data, the hottesed areas worldwide in chemistry are as follows; new sofeware and software suit for macromolecular structure determination in computational chemistry; molecular electronic devices in nano-chemistry; highly efficient metathesis polymerization , Suzuki cross-coupling reactions and asymmetric catalysed reactions in organic chemistry, etc. There are few world first level research works in these areas in China. The active research areas in China are materials synthesis and characterization, e.g. catalysts and nano-mate-rials, asymmetric catalysed reactions and structure determination data aco^iiring, etc. Although great progress has been made in chemical research in China over these years, the general research level is still far behind that of developed countries.
