摘　　要：分析了基层图书馆馆员素质现状 ,提出了在 2 1世纪图书馆员应当具备的素质要求以及提高馆员素质的主要途径。This article discusses the present status of the Local librarians,the qualities that the librarians should possess in 21^(st) century and the main way to improve the above-mentioned qualities.
