摘　　要：中国古代历史文化与欧洲迥异,文明起源有其自身特点与规律,即文明起源在前,国家起源在后。中国文明起源与西亚北非文明同步产生,且多头起源、一元发展具有两级性特征,以礼的角度来理解中国文化、儒学的道统(价值体系)是合乎中国文化一以贯之特点的。Ancient Chinese history and culture are entirely different from those of Europe. Origination of a civilization has characteristics and laws of its own. Namely, the origination of civilization precedes that of state. The origination of Chinese civilization is simultaneous with those of West Asia and North Africa, and characterized by pluralism and a two-grades sturcture. To understand the Chinese civilization in view of rites, the Confucian value system is in line with its characteristics of the penetrating oneness.
