摘  要:在新疆社会近代化的历史背景下,维吾尔族传统经院教育向新式学校教育转型;古代孤立分散的私学教育向近代国民教育过渡;旧式宗教教育向世俗科学文化教育演变。维吾尔族教育近代化不仅是维吾尔族发展进程的重要标志,而且有力地推动了民族文化的提升和思想意识观念的转变。The author summarizes the features of the formal education process of the Uygur nationality in modern times and points out that this process ia characterized by the transformations from the old Koran school education to new - type of school education, from isolated private school education to modern national education and from the education with religion as the dominant contents to secular science education. And the author suggests that this process is not only the marker of the modernization of the Uygur nationality, but also promoted the development of the ethnic culture and changes of thinking of the nationality.
